From digitally generated painting to photography and graphic design to sculpture, from spatial installation to video, from movie to rockmusic – Hans Weigand’s work is interdisciplinary and multimedia based. He approaches banal everyday phenomena by referring to cheap novelettes and classic movies (“Cotton 2001”) and reveals common codes and structures. Numerous collaborations complement Weigand’s cross-genre notion of art.
