Dieter Roth is primarily associated with the commonly called "Eat Art". Fascinated by the inability to control the decomposition of organic products, he found some realness in it. To push this furthermore he enabled his work to third parties, the "Collaborationen" were created. Resembling Beuys, Roth accomplished his pieces without any aesthetical request. A consequent equation of life and art defined his creativity.
