Rudolf Schwarzkogler
* 1940 in Wien (A)
† 1969 in Wien
Rudolf Schwarzkogler - seen as one of the most consequent among the Viennese Actionists - developed a deeply personal and conceptual oriented form of the Viennese Actionism, taking place without interaction between artist and spectators. Rather he focused on a medial conveyance employing photography, whereby the artist's attention was claimed towards himself.
The gallery is specialised in early vintage prints and editions, as well as extremely rare graphic works. In 1998 a purchase from Edith Adam's photographical estate occurred, adding a collection of photographs, autographs, documents and raras to the gallery's repository.
